Enhanced Azelaic Acid Gel-Cream

Enhanced Azelaic Acid Gel-Cream provides combined anti-inflammatory and skin-clearing effects aimed at helping resolve and prevent:

  • redness;
  • pimples, papules and pustules

while helping lightly and gently renew skin texture prone to dryness, visibly open pores and/or superficial irregularity.

The inclusion of a high percentage of anti-inflammatory pure beta-glucan (common to Rosacea Cooling Lotion and Rosacea Treatment Fluid) greatly assists healing, de-sensitization and the prevention of treatment-resistance over time compared with azelaic acid alone.

Enhanced Azelaic Acid Gel-Cream Instructions for Use

For night-time use only.

Cleanse skin with one of the Rosacea Cleansers and mist skin lightly with one of the Rosacea De-Sensitizing Mists.

If especially prone to skin sensitivity, wait 10-15 minutes before proceeding to help reduce the surface reactivity of the skin.

Apply a moderate amount of the product to all areas affected by redness and/or pimples, papules and pustules.

Leave to sit for at least ten minutes before retiring.

Unless skin is prone to dryness, preferably avoid the application of rosacea moisturizer after the application of the product, otherwise wait at least half an hour before moisturizing to avoid neutralizing the product's benefits.

If using multiple topical medications as part of your rosacea therapy, layer them as professionally prescribed, or thinnest to thickest.

Enhanced Azelaic Acid Gel-Cream Frequency of Use

Use once every three nights in the first week, every other night from the second week, and nightly from the third week.

Decrease frequency of use if you find lesser use provides the same result as greater use.

Enhanced Azelaic Acid Gel-Cream Ingredients/Notes

Pure azelaic acid and beta glucans in a non-comedogenic, dry-finishing triglyceride opaque gel base.

Does not contain any additional active ingredients.

Does not contain fragrance, colouring or preservatives.

Azelaic acid is extracted from wheat.

Beta glucans are derived from yeast cell walls.

Notes on Preservative Content

About Enhanced Azelaic Acid Gel-Cream Azelaic Acid

Azelaic acid is a natural anti-inflammatory and light skin resurfacing agent for use in the treatment of rosacea redness and/or pimples, papules and pustules.

Gently and sustainably resurfaces skin and reduces the appearance of open pores.

May be used in combination with metronidazole gel or other topical and systemic medications.

About Enhanced Azelaic Acid Gel-Cream Beta Glucan

Beta glucan protects skin from negative side effects sometimes associated with azelaic acid use in rosacea patients.

Facilitates barrier restoration through stimulation of tissue granulation, collagen deposition, and accelerated cell renewal.

Protects skin and helps prevent irritation and infection.

Accelerates restoration of the skin's protective barrier (the epidermis).
